1. — to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ.

2. — make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

prayer

For the Christian, praying is like breathing. It is easier to do it than to not do it. Prayer is a form of serving God and obeying Him. We pray because God commands us to pray. Prayer is exemplified for us by Christ and the early church. Jesus thought it was worthwhile to pray, we should also. Prayer is a means of obtaining God's solutions.

elders / seniors

At GHBC we respect our elders and understand that as we grow older, the spirit may still be willing but the flesh is definately weak. We have a ramp for easy entry and a sidewalk for easy access from one building to another. Our audio system provides adequate sound and we are currently working on new video capabilies as well.

sunday school

You are never "too cool" for Sunday School! Sunday School gives people a systematic method of Bible learning in a comfortable and trustworthy setting. Questions are encouraged that people might grow in knowledge of the Lord and personal faith.

worship

Worship matters, to God, to you. But distractions can get in the way. We may go to church, but not worship. We sing songs, but not worship. We listen to sermons, but not worship. We serve at church – but not worship. We can do all of these "things" and yet fail to truly worship God. At GHBC worship is a lifestyle. It’s the gathering of believers to practice our beliefs and celebration of Him.

music

Hearts moved by God's Word cannot help but express themselves: their sorrow over sin, their joy in forgiveness, the comfort of their heavenly hope. At GHBC we are truely blessed with skilled and gifted believers to provide music at the piano, keyboard and organ. ANd He has graced us with several accomplished vocalists. All share their gifts for the glory of God.

service

"So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.” That's the last thing Jesus said before He returned to the Father. And it should be the FIRST THING we commit to every day. At GHBC or mission is to make real: You Are Loved.
